About Una
I feel most called to support women who are navigating meaningful transitions in their lives. As women, we are often asked to hold many roles — partner, parent, professional, caregiver, daughter — and those roles naturally shift as we move through different stages of life. Whether it’s changes in relationships, parenting, career, identity, or family dynamics, these transitions can be both deeply rewarding and unexpectedly challenging. I believe that while none of us can have everything all at once, it is possible to create a full, grounded, and meaningful life across the seasons — and sometimes having support makes all the difference.
My path to this work has been shaped by my own experiences with major life changes, including divorce, co-parenting, repartnering, caregiving, and career transitions. Like many of the clients I work with, I’ve had to rediscover myself more than once. These experiences taught me not only how complex change can be, but also how much growth, resilience, and unexpected richness can emerge when we move through life with curiosity and support.
Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and engaged — someone who is fully on their team. I aim to create a space where you can explore as deeply as you need to, while also helping you gently turn toward what’s next when you’re ready.
My work is grounded in a somatic, or body-based, perspective. Many of our emotional patterns and nervous system responses form long before we have words for them, which means insight alone isn’t always enough for lasting change. In our work together, we may explore the connection between mind, body, and deeper inner knowing — helping you understand your patterns, build awareness, and create shifts that carry over into your everyday life. With a background that includes years of working with clients as a coach, I naturally integrate practical tools and forward movement once clarity begins to emerge, so insight can translate into lasting change. I also draw from training in Expressive Arts therapy, incorporating creative and experiential approaches when helpful to support deeper exploration and self-expression.
Through my own experiences — navigating relationship transitions, parenting, supporting loved ones through profound change, and re-examining my beliefs and identity over time — I’ve developed a deep respect for the nonlinear nature of healing. I know what it’s like to walk through uncertainty and to hold onto hope when things feel heavy. Because of this, I bring empathy, steadiness, and genuine understanding to the therapy room, along with a belief that there is a way forward, even when it isn’t yet clear.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen, heard, and safe enough to be fully ourselves. When we no longer have to hide parts of our story, new possibilities begin to open. Therapy can be a place where you make sense of where you’ve been, honor your strength, and begin to imagine what comes next — on your own terms.
Outside the therapy room, I’m a yoga teacher and find grounding in movement, time in nature, and connection with my partner and children. I love being outdoors — whether riding on trails, hiking, or traveling — and these moments help me stay present and balanced in my own life.
My hope for every client is that you come to see that you are not broken — that at your core you are whole and complete, worthy, and capable of growth. Each of us carries gifts, even when they’re hidden beneath layers of stress, grief, and self-doubt. Therapy is a space to excavate those parts of yourself and begin living in a way that is more aligned, authentic, and alive.
